Generic Vibramycin Tablets – Product Information

Generic Vibramycin tablets (Doxt S tablets) are used for the treatment of nose, ears, lung, skin, bone, stomach and bladder, chest, urethra, womb and rectum infections. Generic Vibramycin may be used in combination with amoebicides, which are used to treat parasites. Doxt S is also used to treat dental infections, sexually-transmitted diseases (STD) such as syphilis or gonorrhoea. It can also be used to treat and prevent malaria as well as anthrax (caused by Bacillus anthracis) and Leptospirosis.
Generic Vibramycin may also be used to treat severe acne. Generic Vibramycin is also effective against Yersinia pestis (the infectious agent of bubonic plague), and is prescribed for the treatment of Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. In fact, because Doxycycline is one of the few medications shown to be effective in treating Rocky Mountain spotted fever, doxycycline is indicated even for use in children for this illness. Otherwise, it is not indicated for use in children under the age of eight years.
The active ingredient present in Generic Vibramycin is Doxycycline Hyclate.

Dosage And Administration

Doxt S (Generic Vibramycin) comes as an oral tablet in 100 mg dosage forms.
Recommended Adult dosage of Generic Vibramycin Tablets (Doxycycline)
The usual dose of oral Generic Doxycycline is 200 mg on the first day of treatment (administered 100 mg every 12 hours) followed by a maintenance dose of 100 mg/day. In the management of more severe infections (particularly chronic infections of the urinary tract), 100 mg every 12 hours is recommended.

Side Effects of Generic Vibramycin Tablets

The common possible side effects of Generic Vibramycin are anorexia, nausea, diarrhoea, glossitis, dysphagia, enterocolitis and inflammatory lesions in the anogenital region.

Generic Sinemet CR Tablets (Syndopa CR Tablets) is used for the treatment of the symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson's disease (paralysis agitans), postencephalitic parkinsonism, and symptomatic parkinsonism which may follow injury to the nervous system by carbon monoxide intoxication and/or manganese intoxication.

Patients Without Prior Levodopa Therapy:
Generic Sinemet CR 100/25 may be used in early stage patients who have not had prior levodopa therapy or to facilitate titration when necessary in patients receiving Syndopa CR 200/50.
The initial recommended dose is 1 tablet of Syndopa CR 100/25 twice daily.
For patients who require more levodopa, a daily dose of 1 to 4 tablets of Syndopa CR 100/25 twice a day is generally well tolerated.
Treatment with Syndopa CR 200/50 in Adults
When appropriate, Levodopa therapy may also be initiated with Syndopa CR 200/50.
In early stage patients who have not had prior levodopa therapy, the initial recommended dose is one tablet of Sinemet CR 50/200 once daily.
The initial recommended dose in patients with mild to moderate disease is 1 tablet of Syndopa CR 200/50 two times daily.
Initial dosages should not exceed 600 mg per day of Levodopa or be given at intervals of less than 6 hours.

Side Effects of Generic Sinemet CR Tablets

The side effects of Generic Sinemet CR (Syndopa CR) include abnormal uncontrolled movements, which may or may not resemble your Parkinson's symptoms, feeling sick (also called nausea), vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, light-headedness when standing quickly, dry mouth, dark saliva, dream abnormalities, sleeping difficulty, sleepiness or sudden onset of sleep, weakness and confusion.

Generic Glucophage Tablets (Metformin Tablets) – Product Information

Generic Glucophage Tablets (Glycomet, Exermet XR) is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus (non-insulin dependent diabetes) in adults, when diet and exercise alone does not result in adequate control of blood glucose levels. Generic Glucophage is also used for the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome.

Adult Dosage (Generic Glucophage):
The initial dosage of Generic Glucophage tablets (Generic Metformin) is 500 mg given orally, twice a day, taken with meals. The maximum daily dose is 2550 mg given in three divided doses.
Adult Dosage (Generic Glucophage XR):
The initial dose for Generic Glucophage XR (Generic Metformin XR) is 500 mg given orally, once or twice daily, after meals. The dose can be gradually increased to the maximum of 2 gm daily in divided doses.

Side Effects of Generic Glucophage Tablets

The common possible side effects of Generic Glucophage Tablets include headache or muscle pain, weakness, gastrointestinal upset, including cramps, mild nausea, vomiting, diarrhea increased flatulence, gas, and stomach pain. The most serious potential side effect of metformin use is lactic acidosis; this complication is very rare, and the vast majority of these cases seem to be related to comorbid conditions, such as impaired liver or kidney function, rather than to the metformin itself.

Feeling short of breath, even with mild exertion;
Swelling or rapid weight gain; or
